Cold Therapy

Prompt application of cold therapy has great value in Post-Operative treatments and trauma. Cold therapy helps reduce swelling and bruising resulting from any type of injury. Cold therapy has been shown to be greatly effective in reducing swelling by slowing the flow of blood to the injured area. A cold therapy also benefits in relieving the sensations of pain and restoring strength and mobility more quickly so that patients can feel better sooner. It is recommended to apply a cold compress pack on the skin constantly for 72 hours following the procedure.
